There should be an
awakening:
beyond perplexities of
karma,
transcending inevitability
of the horoscope,
shredding threads in
the net of genetic
tangles.
There should be a sky:
beyond square boundaries
of latitudes and
longitudes,
crossing firmaments of
cloud formations,
beyond finite spaces of
gravitational force.
To be weightless
inside a primordial egg,
a foetal infant,
wide-eyed,
close by the infinite
planets
all ears
to unsettling
reverberations
from the vast, eternal
mystery,
to be mere conscience,
to be superman.
(Written on watching
Stanley Kubrick's Masterpiece '2001- A SPACE ODYSSEY,, acknowledging
wholeheartedly the indebtedness to the film's ending.)
