HAIKU POEMS-NATURE LESSONS
Learn it from a leaf:
to laugh heedless,
to fade silent
grasshopper sardines frogs
for pesticides
next, the peasant
a hundred suitors
in submission for one:
testimony of honey
learn it
from red ants:
agility in Karma
contemplate
leaf-cutter ants
for low cost homes
Architect
could pay tribute
to baya weaver sparrow
bow as you get wet
bow as you water
like a blade of grass
facades of dusk crimson :
white as full moon
dark as new moon
blanket of cold
for the lazy wader:
river stream.
Hot spring
for dashing diver:
river stream.
Heat of sun's half;
cool of shade's half:
bath in the embankment.
Grown up, yet taken as child
in river's maternal mind:
morning cool even at noon
land, a spendthrift
keeps nothing
heat or cold.
